Script improvement

Due to my privious script was hard to understand, our group members spent three days to improve my idea. And this is the first draft of our script, it is a combination of Ardi's idea and mine.



Script:
Characters: Emily, Emily’s sister
Scene one:
(Running Track)
Emily is standing on the racing track and looking forward (camera tracking around her, low angle)

Emily (V.O): My name is Emily, I am 24, and I am a relay race athlete. Five years ago I was almost dying….

Scene Two:
(Recollection)
Location: Ward

Emily is sitting on bed and reading her diary. Her tears drop down when seeing her pictures.

Emily (V/O): The unexpected diagnoses pushed me to the edge of death. I was suffering from the daily treatments. My doctor told me I had to wait for a new liver to live on. Because of the shortage of donors, I was like a canoe floating on the sea, and I had not idea when I can land. Both my family and me were despaired, the only thing always sustains me is my relay baton. I want to continue my life, I want to pass my baton on! But who can help me?

Emily feels painful, and her hand slowly moves to her liver position. She is weak and pale, she lies back and her diary drops off. She tries to approach her baton besides her.

Meanwhile, Emily’s sister opens the door and rushes in.

Sister: Emily! You have a new liver!

Emily looks at her sister, smiling.

Scene Three
From her eyes, we can see the racing track.

Emily is smiling. She takes over the baton from her “Donor” and starts to run.

Emily(V.O): I don’t know who he is or even his name. He died in an accident and he was only 20. He passed his life to me, so I can keep running. I don’t know how far I can run, but I promise you my life saver, I will pass my life to the next person when I reach the end.
Scene Four:

Statistics:

Australia has one of the highest success rates in organ and tissue transplantation yet one of the lowest organ and tissue donation rates in the world.
Australias organ and tissue donation rate is approximately 10 donors per million of population most OECD countries have at least a 50% higher rate, some 100-200% higher.
There are currently 3,000 people (children and adults) on the official organ and tissue transplant waiting list in Australia waiting for a heart, kidney, lung, liver, pancreas or corneal transplant.
Of those waiting for a heart, lung or liver transplant, 20% will die before they receive one.
There are currently 8,000 people (children and adults) undergoing dialysis treatment in Australia. This number increases 6% each year. Only 1,500 make the official transplant waiting list for a kidney. Of those on the waiting list for a kidney the average wait is 4 years. It is considered futile to put the remaining 6,500 people on dialysis on the transplant waiting list as their chances of receiving a transplant would be very poor. There simply are not enough organ donors.
As many as 9 people can benefit from the organ and tissue donations of one person.

Our campaign

In 2007, New release of advertisement coming soon...

It's a advertisement about Organ Donation, currently the idea will about Relay baton.
Organ Donation is a new campaign which is the cooperation of Media company Contact and Australian Healthy and Ageing department.

The media company "CONTACT" was estabilished in 2000 by Ardi, Faye, Jin and Shushu. The mission of Contact is "WE Contact..." we Contact everyone..contact the whole world.

Resently we cooperate with the Australian Healty and Ageing department to promote and encourge Australian young adults to register as a donator. The idea of the advertisement of mine is the relay baton, which means 'pass on your organ save lifes'. although, our slogan hasn't decide yet.

Charactors: Girl, Boy

Scene ONE
Location: Street
Boy and Girl pass on the street

Scene TWO

Location: Church

Girl parying in the church, suddently she fall down.

Scene THREE

Location: Hospital

(Ambulance Alarm)

The sickroom is dark and quiet...

Girl lie in a bed, pale and week. Her body is conneted by catheters with iatric machine, and beside her bed, her sister is holding a crucifix necklet and pary for girl.

Secene FOUR

Location: Running Track

Boy stand by on the running track, looks at the terminus, sweat drops, soon, he passes his baton to another person

(gun shoots)

Boy starts runing, and sweating.



Secene FIVE

Boy's Recollect

Location: anywhere

Boy standing and filling a register form, and circle "YES" under the question of "are you willing to be a donator" or similar questions.

Secene SIX

Location: Back to running track

Girl take over Boy's baton, and keep running

Secene SEVEN

Location: seats around the playground

Boy and Girl sitting and talking, they are so happy

Blur the secene, logo, slogan fade out

It's a new start

Alright, let me see....
From now on, my blog will totally change into a new content which is .......it will becomes my sememster 4's media production diary.

In this sememster we have to finish a major production project as a group. Basically the idea of our group's project will be about ORAGAN DONATION, and later I will be introduce our company and our idea.

The last podcast was finished

I am so exciting because we spend a whole day to think about the theme.
The stroy is wonderful..
The production is wonderful..
Especially the music, I love them..
The story was happen in the old days' China, a boy was left his lover for working outside the villiage. The girl waited for him for many years and hear nothing from him. So she found a rabbi, who is good on magic, looked for her boyfriend. However, her boyfriend was dead. Because she supplicated the rabbi with desperation, the rabbi promised her that she was allowed to exchange her boyfriend's body by paying her 20 years life. She did. But she discover that what did she get was a zombie, who has not feeling and emotion, only a body. Then the rabbi asked her to pay another 20 years to get his spirit back into his body, she did.
....

Blog critique-Wan2's comic blog

Wan2's comic blog which is the most popular personaility blog in Taiwan's biggest blog website WRETCH.

"Wretch (Chinese: 無名小站) is a Taiwanese community web site, in Chinese, it's name means Anonymous Lil' Site or Nameless Lil' Station. It is the most famous web blog community in Taiwan with thousands of users registered now. Wretch provides free album, blog, and bbs hosting services. Four languages, including English, are available. A more extensive VIP version is offered. It is the top visited site in Traditional Chinese languages and the second in Taiwan after Yahoo! Taiwan according to Alexa." (wikipedia)

The blog was launch in October 2004, similar as other blogs, Wanwan2's comic blog was set up for Wanwan (blogger) recording her daily life. It is a Chinese blog as well as a art blog.

It became famous because of the cute cartoon character "Wanwan" (As shown in the picture). Actually Wanwan is the nickname of the blogger, she named the little cute figure Wanwan which as same as blogger's nick name because she is a artist and she created a simple cute figure which could represents her and use it to record her daily life.

As time goes, more and more people showed their interesting of her simple images and numbers of them use those images as MSN pictures. Many of my friends and I now are using her images (such as the left one) to express my daily moods and it is kind of fashion.

Wanwan2's comic blog has well designed which has pinky cartoon background with orange and light yellow navigation and blogging background. 'Cute' is the theme of the whole blog.

Wanwan's blog currently is a business rather than a personal journal blog, because as the growth of viewers and fans (More than 30 thousands perday and totall visiters currently is 102999127), Wanwan's pictures are published as a book. Therefore if you visit her blog today, her image journal may still, but you could find that there are many different categories of pictures which specially for different purpose such as MSN pictures. Does not like before, Wanwan's blog is much more like a business rather than a journal blog. And what I found that Wanwan is drawing a picture for her audience but not for herself. I can't see many personal feelings expect "I am happy, I went to ....". Before Wanwan became famous, audiences could read some articles which written by her, but now all things are about image althoug images are more easy to understand, but she is losing something.

Due to the situation of Wanwan2's comic blog which is a business, some of the author's pictures are under copy right, they are no more as free as before which people could download or use. The author Wanwan as famous as her figure now, and people sometimes can see her in some TV advertisement. In the future, the figure Wanwan may become a specific cartoon character as "Hello Kitty" and it is not surprise that if there is a company which own by Wanwan.

The Brave Archer

‘The Brave Archer' is a traditional Chinese novel which is written by a famous writer Jin Yong. His novels are all about Kongfu and legend of hero and quite popular in China. 'The Brave Archer' was became a serials drama in 1980s and it was really successful. Nowadays 'The Brave Archer' has retake by many other companies.

The lateast one is retake by CES. It's a good version which I could figure out from their feature which I am going to introduce to you. I like the scene which is the main charactor Guo Jin arching vultures. It's a hard scene that hard to control the horse and actore has to stand on a rearing on the hind legs horse.

Also, it is interesting that look at how people filming in different places. It crew is so huge, many different people in the crew doing different things. I can understand that how tough they are, because I have a simple experience in shooting few weeks ago, it is hard to arrange everything. Especially for this crew, because the main actor Hu Ge was suffered an accident that cause the shooting stopped for a year and waste millions dollars. Fortunately Hu Ge finally came back to the crew and continoune the shooting. Happy girl back!!

woooo..I went though the pressure and I am back!!!!
I was so unhappy last week because too much pressure. But everything finally finished on time! I feel so happy now. I want to say sorry everybody, because I am not transparency actually. Although, I still believe my poem is good..doesn't it?
